Ashley M. Grimm joined Shumaker Williams in October 2007 as an Associate in the Firm’s Immigration Section and Corporate and Financial Services Department. She now serves the Firm in an Of Counsel role.

Ms. Grimm’s practice focuses on assisting immigration clients in both business and family immigration matters. She provides legal counsel on immigrant and non-immigrant visa petitions, petitions for extensions of stay and change of status, adjustment of status and naturalization procedures. Ms. Grimm assists clients in employer compliance, I-9 matters, and federal Department of Labor Audits by establishing comprehensive immigration plans and preparing immigration policies. Her clients include individuals such as physicians, engineers, and computer professionals, as well as multi-national corporations and small U.S. businesses seeking specialized workers.

Ms. Grimm received her Juris Doctorate from the Penn State University – Dickinson School of Law in 2007. While in law school, Ms. Grimm served as Editor-in-Chief of the Penn State International Law Review and interned with the Pennsylvania Department of Banking. Ms. Grimm received her B.A. in International Business and Management from Dickinson College in 2004. She also spent a portion of her studies as a student at the University of Westminster – School of Business in London, England.
