Ms. Courtney is a member of the firm's Financial Institutions and Securities Law Department. Her practice is concentrated in corporate and business law, mergers and acquisitions, banking and securities regulation and commercial law.

Ms. Courtney was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in 1991. She is also admitted to the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. She is a member of the American Bar Association and its Business Law Section and the Pennsylvania Bar Association and its Corporate, Banking and Business Law Section. Ms. Courtney resides in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

Ms. Courtney is a graduate of Widener University School of Law (J. D., cum laude, 1991) and the Pennsylvania State University (B.S., 1977). While at Widener, Ms. Courtney served as Note and Comment Editor for the Delaware Journal of Corporate Law ; she also was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society. Ms. Courtney received American Jurisprudence Awards in Administrative Law and Business Organization, and was the 1991 recipient of the Professor William J. Conner Memorial Award presented by the Delaware Chapter of the Federal Bar Association for excellence in administrative law.
